Silver Lilies for the Bride
Thursday $135 Donna Lewis 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Student Level: All Levels - Some experience with jewelry tools helpful
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
Handcraft a memorable piece that will be the perfect embellishment for that gorgeous wedding gown!
Students will use PMC Sheet to form six point lilies as a base for this wonderful bridal choker, using the excess material to make the pods for the pearls that serve as buds.
You will make a neck wire as the suspension for this piece; and create ball pins to attach the pearls. Simple wire wrapping will pull the piece together and secure the beautiful pearls and silver lilies to your choker.
IDEA: If you're interested in this workshop, you may be interested in Pavé PMC Button Pendant. You could create your own sparkly focal point to personalize your Silver Lily piece. How beautiful that would be!
Kit fee (optional) of $80 payable to Instructor at class time includes: PMC sheets, 14g and 22g fine silver wire, pearls of various sizes, keshi pearls, coin pearl, Argentium crimp beads - please note :due to the volatility of the precious metals market, kit price could be lower or higher at class time.
This particular kit must be ordered from instructor personally at metalclayarts@gmail.com by February 15, 2011 or you will need to supply your own. Only those kits that are pre-ordered will be available at class time.
