Join Susan Lenart Kazmer and Linda McNulty in a first time, hands-on, day-and-a-half workshop where you will learn all aspects of building figuratively to complete an Original, Wearable, Figurative, Mixed-Media Piece!
On the first day, Linda will guide the student through the process of building a unique figure with found, integrated body parts; the casting of these parts with Jeweler’s Grade Molding Putty; the manipulating of ICE Resin with paints, pigments, collage and embedding elements; and the pouring of manipulated ICE Resin into the newly made molds, to create brand-new mixed-media body parts, to be used as a base for the next day’s workshop.
On the second day, Susan will work with the students to connect, assemble, finish and combine the unique body parts started the day before, with jewelry components, ribbons, paper, metal and found objects to create a full Mixed Media Figurative piece with Removable, Wearable Jewelry!
