Type of Workshop: Process and Project
I have come up with another colorful assortment of Fabric Beads. In this class we will be making a collection of one-of-a-kind beads. From the simple and small to the intricate and detailed. All are functional items that can be used to add texture and interest to your fabric art creations, art quilts, fabric jewelry and mixed media art work. I will show you how to create beads I call Dartie beads, Scrap Beads, Odd Ball Beads and many many more. Additionally, you will learn how to create embellishments that you can use to ornament your beads. These beads are crafted with a combination of hand and machine sewing.
