Create and develop a “fusion-dyed” fabric collage layered with color, words, letterforms and symbols. Create beautiful fabrics blended with treasured personal images that incorporate paper staining and dyeing techniques. Explore building layers of texture with stencils, painted stamped patterns and accents of written words/phrases.

Kit Fee of $10 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

Supplies provided by Instructor for student’s use:
Freezer paper
Parchment
Paper towels
Doodling pens & markers
Color pencils
Glitter
Unmounted stamps
Stencils

 Supply List :
3-5 Favorite acrylic fluid paints or acrylic inks
½ yard of muslin
1 canvas board (any size up to 9”x12”)
2-3 B lack & white photocopies of patterns, symbols & letters work best
2-1” foam brushes
2 water containers
Brayer
Scissors
Painting smock
