Student Level: Beginner
Type of Workshop: Process and Project

How exciting to discover how PMC works by creating a lovely pair of earrings using the most basic skills needed to work with precious metal clay. You will learn to measure, texture, shape and form. Everyone will learn which tools work best for each process and what to expect. During drying time, dangles will be prepared and ear wires made by hand. You will learn to finish in the green state to achieve success right out of the kiln. After firing, pieces will be brushed and patinated. Everyone will then wire-wrap the dangles, add the handmade ear wires and they will be ready to wear right away! Everyone will leave with a completed ready to wear pair of earrings. Most will be able to complete two pairs with the same class time and materials. You will all be ready to make PMC jewelry at home.

SURPISE! I'm also going to treat everyone to a special 3D mold making process just for fun. Bring a small charm, antique coin, key or something you'd like to duplicate. My treat as a thank you.
