Traci Bunkers is a mixed-media/fiber artist with her fingers in many media including photography and book arts. She is an avid visual journaler, believing it helps to get it all out on the page—the good, the bad and the ugly. She is also obsessed with non-traditional & alternative photography such as pinhole, polaroid and toy cameras. Aside from selling spinning fibers and yarns that she dyes and creates through her one-woman business Bonkers Handmade Originals, she also creates an artzine called Tub Legs, has a line of rubber stamps, designs knitwear for yarn companies and magazines and is a knitting, spinning and crochet technical editor. She has been teaching classes at various gatherings and conferences across the US for over 15 years. Her visual journal pages and artwork are featured in Artist Trading Cards Workshop by Bernie Berlin, Beyond Paper Dolls by Lynne Perella, The Complete Guide to Altered Imagery by Karen Michel, The Decorated Journal by Gwen Diehn and Kaleidoscope: Ideas And Projects to Spark Your Creativity by Suzanne Simanaitis.
