Art is the power to communicate; to release feelings, your own and those of
others; to heal; to touch other human hearts; to create beauty; to spark
cultural dialogue; and just maybe change the world. I have come into this amazing
power through my own work and teaching. I love the creative process whether in
my studio or the classroom. Beautiful materials and exciting techniques
expand the artistic repertoire and are a vehicle to add those special elements
that delight and surprise the viewer.
I love the freedom of mixed media and the cognitive exploration it allows.
What a joy to witness and facilitate creative growth. There is no better job.
