Deb Trotter

A native of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Deb Trotter is a mixed media artist who now resides in beautiful Cody, Wyoming . Using vintage photos of cowboys, cowgirls, and Native Americans, she explores the myth and nostalgia of the Old West through mixed media artwork such as narrative collage, assemblage, and decorative painting. Deb’s western-themed art has been featured in Cloth, Paper, Scissors; Somerset Studio; Belle Armoire Magazine; and Art E Tude Zine, as well as in Lynne Perrella’s most recent book, Beyond Paper Dolls. As an artist who believes in commitment to her community, Deb serves on the Park County Arts Council Board of Directors in Cody, Wyoming and is a member of the local art league. She is an active participant in Art Auctions where the monies raised support local artists, museums, and charities. Her award-winning artwork has been exhibited in various galleries and art shows throughout the United States, as well as in Germany and New Zealand . Deb’s work is represented by shops and galleries in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado.
