| Alma Stoller | |
| Student Level: all levels | |
| Type of workshop: Process and Project |
In this class, you will learn how to make several of my colorful and densely embellished fabric beads. You will learn how to make Eye Candy Bead, Puff Beads, Yo-Yo beads, Flat Beads and the ever popular Odd
Ball Beads. You will assemble, sew and ornament your beads in your own color combination. These beads are incredibly strong and sturdy and can easily become charms, pendants and embellishments. You will learn how to add seed beads of picots, ruffles and fringe on to your fabric beads. These beads are a great way to add texture and visual interest to your fabric or mixed media art work. You can use these beads in
your jewelry art, art dolls, as charms, at the base of a sculpture/house or as a fringe along the base of a collage or an art quilt. The embellishment possibilities are endless.
I will bring a colorful assortment of samples which will further illustrate the abundant possibilities of these beads. This is a great class for the complete beginner or advanced needle artist alike.
