Simplicity. Typography. Symbols. Sumi brush marks. Eyedropper doodles. Rub-on letters. Cutouts. Graffiti lettering. Freestyle calligraphy. Photographs. You will be led through various jumpstarts to create personal symbols and marks. We’ll discuss leveraging your art with the computer, digital camera and photocopy machine.

Materials fee of $10 payable to instructor at class time includes: Collage Unleashed aRt! kit of papers & collage images, sumi ink, mark making tool kit, unmounted stamps and stencils, Collage Unleashed inspiration guide.

-Scissors
-Black chisel tip Sharpie-
-Misc. black permanent pens/markers
-Black Acrylic paint
-White acrylic paint
-Black & white photocopies of personal images/journal pages/line art - sharp contrast images work best
-Glue stick
-Two 1" foam brushes
-2 water containers
-a few mark making tools - Uunmounted stamps, sticks, stencils
-Painting smock
