| My Heart Jumped Over the Moon - Metal Clay Pendant | $130 |
| Louise Duhamel | |
| Student Level: All levels | |
| Type of workshop: Project |
Begin your pendant using rubber stamps, molds, and natural materials to create a basic design. A hand or small pocket of sorts, is cleverly cupped along the lower portion of the piece, in which a smaller, removable pendant charmingly lies. Students will spend the afternoon learning to apply a beautiful array of colors to their metal clay, using a special colored pencil technique. In addition, the art of fusing 22 Karat gold to the silver, which is an ancient Korean art called “Keum-boo,” will be demonstrated and may be practiced by those students desiring an alternative method of color application. Either way, students will be delighted with their pendants and it will be up to them to decide whether to wear the pieces together or to wear the smaller pendant alone on a romantic evening out under the moon.
