Incorporating texture into your art can make your paintings and journal pages exciting and beautiful. There are fun and easy techniques and tools that artist have available to them to create the look of lush foliage, sandy beaches and an Italian stone wall. We will do several small paintings as well as a variety of examples studies that can be put into a file or journal creating a toolbox of ideas for future references. Learn the lots secret "s" words that will create texture in your art!

** (From above...) This workshop is fun for all levels of watercolor painters. I welcome new beginner watercolor enthusiasts as well as more advanced students to participate in all my classes. Whether you consider yourself to be a new or advanced painter, we all start at the beginning and will become better and better painters the more we paint. As we learn new and exciting techniques, we begin to get a feel of how the water interacts with the paint and the paper. Desire and passion are what are needed to be successful watercolor painters, with artistic talent being a bonus! I will have fun projects for all levels and each person will be working at their level. I always tell my students, "Put miles on your brushes!". We will explore lots of different ways to create texture in our paintings.
