I will give participants a template to plan their online strategies. Advanced users of particular channels will benefit from understanding how to integrate their social media with other marketing.

A heart-centered instructor, I guide creatives toward intelligent marketing and we have fun in the process. Using an acronym, participants will craft an effective social media communication plan. In interactive breakouts, participants will experiment with templates to help them shift from creative design mind to innovative marketing. As a result of this class, students will understand how they can use Facebook, Instagram and other channels to generate more visibility and engagement for themselves and their business. Participants leave with a written plan and sample posts that can be put into effect immediately. As Lucy in the Charlie Brown cartoon says, "People always expect more of you when you have naturally curly hair." For years I sold 'air' (radio broadcasting). That experience gave me the impetus to make things more tangible for others. Social media, a different kind of broadcasting, is a perfect fit for me.

I've specialized in marketing/pr and social media for more than 10 years. Since I speak the language of creatives, I easily bridge both worlds, and guide artists to better understanding of how and why to successfully use social media.

Feed your inner creative in a different way as you consider social media to be the tool it's meant to be. Discover meaningful ways to lead a conversation in your field as you extend your creativity to the digital world. You will select hashtags with confidence, give purpose to your posts and propel your visibility as a result of this workshop.
