It has been said that when we draw a portrait it often resembles the artist creating the portrait. Let's spend a day getting to know ourselves, seeing ourselves through our Artist's Eyes! What better place to learn and practice these expressive portraits than in our visual journals?

Self portraits are my favorite way of expressing myself, as my portraits always express where I am emotionally, mentally, and physically during any given moment. In this workshop, I will guide you first through some traditional portraiture exercises in the morning. Come afternoon we will create a visually intriguing journal spread through the use of more intuitive and express drawing, painting, and writing exercises.
