Auction & Contests

Silent Auction Benefits YDI

Silent Auction art is donated by 12 randomly selected instructing artists, other artists and participants
of AU swaps. All monies raised will benefit the art program at Youth Development Institute. Those of you who
have been to AU know that one of my passions is helping needy children. YDI does just that with a large
number of at-risk children benefitting from living and being educated at YDI.

Our vision is of a therapeutic community,
a village where children find a place to belong and grow,
where they can create identity through lasting relationships with caring adults,
where they find a home for the heart and spirit, a place of healing and hope.

Saturday Evening Fun

Join us for an evening of fun and laughter as we enjoy Art in the Garden. Following our 2019 theme, Birds Bees Blooms, our special guests, members of the Phoenix Fridas will be leading Make 'n Takes that reflect that theme. You'll move from table to table creating items that can be found in the Gardens of the world, birds, bees, blooms. You might want to think about the bee you will make because following the Make 'N Takes, we will be crowning the Queen Bee. Anyone who created a bee is eligible to model her/his creation on our runway. The person whose bee receives the most votes will be crowned Queen Bee and will receive a $100 gift certificate for use at AU 2019 or 2020.

In addition to the Queen Bee's prize, there will be drawings throughout the evening.
